The simple truth is that Linux is pretty a good OS in many fields and good laptop user just can do a lot of stuff without installing it on their laptop, while they do not get the free license of Windows which costs money. But in few fields and applications, we need to install Linux on our laptop to run well.

As I am from Techonology, I have been very much fond of exploring the whole world of Linux. In my pursuit, I have found different software and hardware that has helped me in doing a lot of things with Linux.

The problem is Linux is pretty much different in laptops. Some distributions on laptops do not support newer technology for games and games, videos and video players. On the other hand, some of the distributions (openSUSE Tumbleweed is a great example) do not support the newer hardware. It’s really confusing for me.

How to Take a Screenshot on Windows 10?

If you need to capture a snapshot of something on your computer screen, Windows 10 provides a number of options.

Whether you want to save the full screen or just a portion of it, we've compiled a list of the most frequent methods for capturing a screenshot in Windows 10.

Simply hit the "Print Screen" key on your keyboard to save a copy of whatever is now on your computer screen. It's commonly called "PrtScn" (or something similar) and can be found in the top row, next to or among the Function keys.

You may need to use the Function key on some keyboards (especially laptops) to activate Print Screen (To put it another way, press PrtScn while holding down the Function key)

If you're using a touchpad, select screengrab to grab the entire screen and Windows will offer to automatically select the best shot. If you're using a mouse, hit Command + Shift + S to take a screen shot of the entire screen.

From a Device

Screenshots don't work in the same way as on a mouse or touchpad. You can take screenshots of applications as long as you're on a Windows 10 device and they're in focus. You can't take a screenshot on a mobile device in the way that you can on a desktop.

PrtScn should be pressed. The full screen gets copied to the clipboard. You can paste the screenshot into any image-viewing tool, such as Paint or Microsoft Word.

Press Alt + PrtScn at the same time. The active window is copied to the clipboard, which you can then paste into another programme.

Press the Windows key + PrtScn at the same time. The full screen is saved as an image file. It's under a subdirectory called "Screenshots" under the "Pictures" folder.

How to Use Snipping Tool on Windows 10 to Take a Screenshot?

With Windows 10, Microsoft offers Snipping Tool, a far more flexible screenshot application.

You can take a screenshot with Snipping Tool and save it as an image file without first pasting it into another programme.

1. From the Start menu, select Snipping Tool.

2. Select the type of screenshot shape you want from the "Mode" drop-down menu, which includes full-screen, rectangle, and free-form options. With Snipping Tool's menus, you can select the type of screenshot you want.

3. When you click New, your screen will go freeze. The screenshot can then be created with the mouse. In the Snipping Tool window, the screenshot will display.

4. If you want to add something like a tooltip that appears only after a mouse movement, you may use the Delay menu to determine how long to wait before capturing the screenshot.

5. After you've taken your snapshot, you can annotate it with the sketching tools if you want to.

6. When you're finished, go to "File" and then "Save As" to save the screenshot to your computer.

7. You may also copy the image to your clipboard by clicking the copy button in the Snipping Tool window, which appears like 2 pages stacked on top of each other.
